"The new Armalyte is still very early in development and both Dan Phillips and I are working in it in our spare time, we are also separated by half the planet so right now progress is quite slow but I'm very excited by some of the ideas we have for the game. I had quite a tough time getting back into c64 pixels and colours so I did that picture to test myself I've designed the new player ships and have been sketching out pieces of scenery and ideas for bosses to c64 specifications. Dan is working on some very exciting stuff but its a bit too early to say what
One important thing I have to mention is that we are not intending to imitate Enforcer, Metal dust or katakis, those games are very impressive but have a very different feel to Armalyte, however the new Armalyte isn't just going to be a level pack, it's a brand new game!"
ps.
"In all probability, no. Martin well and truly left video games behind quite a long time ago and moved on to concentrate on conventional music, and I wish him all the best. It is too early to say who will be in charge of that aspect at this point. We are still discussing the sound drivers right now".
